Lyric soprano Megan Lindsey McDonald is a native of Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from California Lutheran University and her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from California State University, Northridge.
In summer 2018 she performed with the New York Lyric Opera Theatre throughout Manhattan at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and National Opera Center, debuting as Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro
. Earlier this year, she performed Nicolai’s The Merry Wives of Windsor
as Anne Page at CSUN, as well as Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti.
In 2017, Megan sang in Berlin, Germany with the Berlin Opera Academy in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte
Megan has been a member of the Aretè Vocal Ensemble and the Los Robles Master Chorale. She had the opportunity to sing Mozart’s Solemn Vespers
at Carnegie Hall in 2008, Vaughan William’s Dona Nobis Pacem
at Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2009, and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 8
alongside the Los Angeles Master Chorale under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel at the Shrine Auditorium in 2012.
