Brennan Meier, tenor, is a 2018 graduate of Chapman University with a degree in Music Performance, minoring in English Literature, and will be starting his M.M. in Voice Performance this fall at Boston University. He is originally from Newark, CA and has been seen in lyric and character tenor roles such as Henrik in A Little Night Music, Sam in Street Scene, Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette, and most recently Count Boni in Die Csárdásfürstin, as well as in concert repertoire as a tenor soloist in Puccini’s Messa di Gloria and Handel’s Messiah. He also will be singing the role of Le Remendado this summer in Hawaii Performing Arts Festival’s Carmen. In Mr. Meier’s free time he is also a jazz saxophonist and keyboardist and can often be seen with Freedoms Music LLC, a SoCal jazz/r&b project.
