An undergraduate at California State University, Northridge and alumnus of the American Institute of Musical Studies, Manfred Anaya will be graduating with his B.M. in Vocal Performance. A rising musician in the area, he will be performing as Fenton in Nicolai’s The Merry Wives of Windsor as well as being featured as a soloist at The Soraya, formerly known as the Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC) next spring. Past roles include Tchaplitsky in Tchaikovsky’s Pikovaya dama and Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, along with having made his debut as a concert soloist in Graz, Austria this past summer. This year he begins his role as Student Conductor for the top choir at CSUN, the Northridge Singers.
