Brian Kim
Brian Kim, tenor, graduated from South Pasadena High school, where he was in the Concert Choir for a short time, although guitar was his first instrument. He continued at Pasadena City College as a music major and enjoyed his experiences in Concert Choir, with the Chamber Singers, and in productions with the Opera Workshop. He has also performed with San Gabriel Valley’s Intimate Opera Company, Santa Monica’s Opera Nova and the Bear Valley Music Festival Opera. In 2007, he graduated from California State Univeristy at Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Vocal Performance. While there, he performed with the Northridge Singers and made his operatic debut in Otto’s The Merry Wives of Windsor as a “Spärlich”. Currently, he is working with his Graduate work at CSU Northridge, studying voice with Dr. Deanna Murray.
