Judy Tran

Judy Tran is a young singer based in Los Angeles. She has performed as a soloist in several city-wide musical events such as the Los Angeles Bach Festival of 2007, held at First Congregational Church of LA, and the Los Angeles University Campus Choir annual concerts. Judy has also performed numerous operatic roles including Prince Orlovsky in Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, and Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen. In addition to singing, Judy works as a collaborative pianist and vocal coach. She has worked as chorus master, coach, and accompanist for several operatic productions including Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, and Puccini’s La Bohème. Outside of the classical realm, Judy is a singer-songwriter and leader of an 8-piece rock band. She is also a student, currently on her undergraduate senior year at UCLA. She is majoring in music with a focus on vocal performance under the master teaching of Vladimir Chernov.
